The Basics
- What’s included in the packages?
- Included in all of our packages is everything from Drinks Reception, Arrival Canapes, Resident Pianist on Arrival, Banquet Meal, Wine with your meal. Décor, Evening Reception, and even bar extension.
- How flexible are your packages?
- Our packages are very flexible. While you can always add extras, we’re more than happy to tailor any package to suit you and what you want. You’re not locked into everything included in your chosen package — it’s all about making it personal to you.
Ceremony
- Do you have allocated spaces for Civil Ceremonies?
- Yes, we offer beautiful spaces for civil ceremonies. Larger ceremonies are held in one half of our elegant Ballroom, while more intimate ceremonies can take place in our charming Private Courtyard. The courtyard is a truly special setting, though it is weather dependent.
Food & Wine
- When does our Wedding tasting take place?
- Your wedding tasting takes place approximately two months before your special day and is held on a Sunday afternoon at lunchtime. It’s a wonderful chance to relax, enjoy a preview of your chosen menu, and taste and select your wedding wine together.The tasting is complimentary for the wedding couple, with additional guests very welcome to join at an additional cost.
- What are our options For Day 2?
- For Day 2, we love to create a relaxed and joyful atmosphere in our Feeney Suite. You can enjoy a delicious BBQ or a selection of gourmet finger foods with your guests, making it the perfect way to continue the celebrations. Live music from a band or DJ is also welcome, filling the room with laughter and dancing until 1 am. It’s a wonderful way to extend the magic of your wedding day and share those precious moments with your loved ones.
The Wedding Party
- What is the capacity of the ballroom?
- Our elegant Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests seated at round tables, making it the perfect setting for a grand and memorable celebration.
- When do you need the final numbers and table plan?
- To help us ensure everything runs perfectly on your special day, we ask for your final guest numbers at least one week before the wedding. Please note that 48 hours before the day, our chef will prepare meals based on these numbers, so we won’t be able to reduce the count for any last-minute changes.We also request your table plan one week in advance. Don’t worry — we’ll take care of printing and beautifully displaying it for you, so you can relax and enjoy your day knowing every detail is perfectly arranged
Accommodation
- What accommodation does the venue offer, will there be discounted rates for guests at the wedding?
- Our hotel offers 108 beautifully appointed rooms, providing a comfortable and inviting retreat for you and your guests. For your wedding, we reserve a block of 20 rooms at a special wedding rate, along with 3 complimentary suites for the night of your celebration — the Bridal Suite and 2 Junior Suites — ensuring the happy couple enjoys a truly memorable stay.Guests attending your wedding will also be offered a discounted wedding rate, and if needed, additional rooms can be added to your block. To help with planning, any rooms not reserved 6 weeks before your wedding will be released to the public, but we will notify you in advance so you can manage your rooming list with ease. Our goal is to ensure that every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and part of your magical celebration.
- What time is Check in/ Check out?
- Check-in is available from 3 pm onwards, giving you and your guests a relaxed start to your wedding weekend. Check-out is from midday, allowing everyone to enjoy a leisurely morning after the celebrations. Breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am, the perfect way to gather, reflect on the magical day, and savor one last moment together before heading home.
Facilities
- Can the bridal party get ready at the venue?
- Absolutely! The Troy Suite offers a beautiful, light-filled space where you and your bridal party can begin your wedding day surrounded by laughter, excitement, and a sense of anticipation. The large windows bathe the room in natural light, perfect for hair and make-up, while the spacious layout allows everyone to move, chat, and celebrate together as the day unfolds.For added convenience and comfort, the suite can be booked from the night before at the wedding rate. We also offer a selection of interconnecting bedrooms, ideal for the bridal party, so your morning is not just about getting ready — it’s a shared, joyful celebration that sets the perfect tone for your magical day ahead.
Financial
- Is there a payment schedule? What kind of deposits are required?
- We want your wedding planning to be as stress-free as possible, so your payment plan is simple and flexible. The total cost is based on your chosen package and the number of guests attending. Typically, 75% of the overall bill is due before your wedding day, with payments scheduled 6 months, 3 months, and 1 month beforehand.If you’d like to pay more, or settle earlier, that’s absolutely fine — the schedule can adapt to suit you. Payments can be made conveniently by bank transfer, over the phone, cash, or cheque. Our goal is to make this part of your planning seamless, so you can focus on enjoying every moment leading up to your special day.
- When does the deposit need to be paid?
- To help you secure your special day, you can hold your wedding date provisionally for 2 weeks without payment. To officially reserve the date, a €1,500 deposit is required. Once we receive it, we’ll draw up your contract, and after signing, your wedding day is officially yours — a wonderful step in bringing your dream celebration to life.
- What’s the cancellation policy?
- The full details of our cancellation policy are included in the ‘Terms and Conditions’ with your contract. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it helps us plan and prepare for your unforgettable day.
