Castletroy Golf Club
Castletroy Golf Club has undergone a major transformation over the past number of years, under the careful supervision of Eddie Connaughton, Course Architect .
The course, reopened in May 2006, has been completely redesigned with eighteen tee box and green complexes constructed to USGA specifications as well as the introduction of fairway bunkering and water features throughout the course.
Set in mature parklands the course will test golfers of all ability. The gentle rolling of the front nine contrasts with the stern test that awaits many on the back nine. The par 3 11th hole played over water will test the nerve of most golfers while the 14th and 17th holes offer panoramic views over the entire golf course. The 16th hole with its fairway bunkering and elevated green will require complete concentration from tee to green.
Golfers can replay their round while relaxing in the clubhouse with full catering and bar facilities available throughout the year.
The team at Castletroy Golf Club are always pleased to welcome visiting societies as well as individual golfers to the club and can offer individually tailored packages to suit all requirements.
Castletroy is steeped in golfing tradition with Fred Daly, Harry Bradshaw, Jimmy Bruen, Joe Carr and Des Smyth some of the past winners of the Senior Scratch Cup. So follow in their footsteps and play one of Ireland's great parkland courses.

Limerick Golf Club
Glorious Golf Course
The JP McManus Invitational Pro-Am, the biggest pro-am event of its kind in Europe, had its home at Limerick Golf Club from 1990, with the last staging in July 2000. The field included some of the biggest players in the game, such as Tiger Woods and Mark O'Meara, and was an enormous success, raising over €19,000,000 for local charities. Both of these players returned to Limerick Golf Club in 2001 and were conferred with Honorary Life Membership. Tiger Woods presented the flagfrom the 18th green of The 2000 Open Championship, held at St. Andrews, to the Club.
A new, modern clubhouse was opened by Padraig Harrington in August 2007 and offers magnificent views over a large portion of the golf course. Full catering and bar services are provided and the restaurant has a reputation for very high quality presentation and service.
Visitors are always welcome to Limerick Golf Club. However, due to the number of members in the club and the resulting demand on the course, visitors should try and avoid Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. A number of open competitions are held during the year, notably the Father & Son/Mother & Daughter foursomes, and the Mid-West Boys' Scratch Cup. A calendar of open events for 2013 is given below.
Green Fee Rates are EUR50 Monday to Thursday and EUR70 at the weekend or on Bank Holidays. Reservations can be made by contacting the office.
