1.      Where is the hotel located?

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Limerick City in Castletroy.

We are adjacent to the University of Limerick and approx. 10 minutes from the M7 Motorway.

 

2.      How can I get to the City Centre?

The bus runs from 2 stops outside the hotel every 15/20 minutes throughout the day, alternatively a taxi can be reserved via our Reception Desk.

 

3.      How far is the hotel from the Airport?

The hotel is 40km from Shannon Airport which is roughly a 30 minute drive.

 

4.      How do I get to the hotel from the Airport?

A taxi can be pre-booked via our Reception for €55.00 each way or a Bus is available from the City Centre

 

5.      What are the hotel dining times?

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday 7am – 10am. Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays Breakfast is from 7:30am – 10:30am

Lunch is served daily in our Brasserie from 12pm – 3pm

Dinner is served daily in our Brasserie from 5pm – 9:45pm

 

6.      What are the opening hours for the Leisure Club?

Monday to Friday 6:30am – 9:45pm

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday’s Monday to Friday 6:30am – 9:45pm

Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday’s 7:30am – 8:45pm

Children's Swimming Hours from 10am to 7pm daily 

 

7.       Does the hotel have a car park and do I need to pre-book a space?

The hotel offers complimentary Car Parking to all guests, no reservation is required

 

8.       What time is check in?

Check in is from 3pm onwards

 

9.       What time is check out?

Check out is at 12pm

 

10.   Does the hotel offer an early arrival or a late check out?

The hotel offers both early check in’s and late departures but both are subject to availability.

11.   Does the hotel have smoking rooms?

The hotel is non-smoking, we have designated smoking areas outside

 

12.   Do the bedrooms have a separate bath/shower?

All bedrooms with the exception of our Accessible Room and Presidential Suite come with a bath/shower combined

 

13.   What type of room would be suitable for 3 Adults or a Family?

3 of our room types can accommodate 3 adults or more. Our Deluxe Room comes with 1 Double and 1 Single Bed (3 people max)

The Deluxe Twin comes with 2 Double Beds (4 people max) and our Family Room comes with 1 Double and 2 Single Beds (4 people max)

 

14.  What is the hotels Child Policy?

Children under 3 years of age stay free when sharing with an adult. From the ages of 3 and up a charge applies.

 

15.  What is the hotels cancellation policy?

For any other rates other than Advance Purchase, your credit card secures your booking.

For all other rates cancellation policy is by 12pm 48 hours/2 days prior to arrival to avoid incurring the first nights charge on your card.

Advance Purchase rates are non-refundable 

 

16.   What does the No Show Policy entail?

Any No Show reservations will be charged the first nights’ accommodation in full

 

17.   Do you have travel cots?

18.   Are pets permitted?

The hotel permits dogs in the hotel at a maximum weight is 6 kilos, supplement of €20.00 applies

19.   Does the hotel have wheelchair accessible rooms?

Yes, we have 2 Accessible Rooms available in the hotel. Please refer to the rooms section for more information

 

20.   What age must I be to check in at the hotel?

In order to check in at the hotel you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by an Adult

 

21.   Do you offer hairdryers in the rooms?

Yes, all bedrooms come equipped with a hairdryer

 

22.   Are there Tea/Coffee making facilities?

Yes each bedroom is supplied with a kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk etc.

 

23.   Do you provide irons and ironing boards in the rooms?

Yes all bedrooms have an individual ironing board and steam iron

 

24.  Does the hotel offer a laundry service?

We operate a daily laundry service during the week, same day return service. Charges apply.

 

25.   Is the hotel air-conditioned?

Each bedroom has its own independently controlled air conditioning unit

 

26.   Are there babysitting services provided?

Yes, a selection of sandwiches are available for Room Service after the Brasserie Dinner service has finished

We do not have a designated business centre but reception would be happy to assist with printing.

The hotel offers Wi-Fi in all areas and is complimentary for our guests
